Overview
HireRoad’s PeopleInsight platform helps HR leaders derive real-time insights from fragmented data across regions. To deliver next-gen capabilities, HireRoad reimagined the analytics experience using AI-ML (classic ML + LLMs), culminating in the embedded PeopleInsight AI Assistant.
The Challenge
Leaders didn’t want static dashboards or analyst wait times—they needed instant answers, deeper context, and foresight. Vision goals included narrative responses to “why” questions, proactive trend/outlier detection, confident forecasting of KPIs like time-to-hire/retention, and an interface usable by everyone regardless of data literacy.
The Solution
SourceFuse and HireRoad launched the PeopleInsight AI Assistant, an AI-powered analytics layer embedded into the platform. Users ask questions in natural language and receive curated responses, visualizations, and KPIs—plus automated insights that summarize trends, diagnose root causes, and forecast key metrics. An agentic design (LangChain + Amazon Bedrock) orchestrates multiple intelligent agents for contextual, accurate responses, running on a modern, serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS Fargate, AWS Glue, Amazon S3) with Amazon API Gateway.

An HR leader asks, “Which departments had the highest turnover last quarter?” Within seconds, the assistant returns a narrative explaining the at-risk departments and key drivers (e.g., time-to-fill, internal mobility).
