AppStacks(TM)- Forgot Password Module v1.0

This module allows a user to reset his/her password in SugarCRM. We could not bundle it as a module, but have made it an installable which copies the required files in the root folder. In case the apache/user does not have write permissions, the INSTALL file describes the process to manually upload the file. The only change that needs to be done is adding a link to the file in the login.php. This is also described in the Readme file for Installation.
 

Features include

 
  • Implement a password reset capability in your SugarCRM.
  • Completely secure. If a user requests for a new password, the system emails a validation link to the user. This prevents non-requested resets.
  • Upon clicking the validation link in the email, the system resets the password and sends it to the user in an email. Validation links can only be used once.
  • Compatible with SugarCRM 5.0+
  • Requires all users to have valid emails associated with them in their SugarCRM.
